Mentors and Badges Question

In MyEras Dynasty, if I assign a mentor to a player and assign the badges, does the mentor LOSE that badge?
For example: I'm trying to get badges for Wemby, so I have a mentor assigned to him...Al Horford.
Will Horford lose the badges that he trains Wemby on?

B/c I would really like to assign Wemby as a mentor to someone else....but not if Wemby is going to lose badges because of it.

Any help is appreciated.

Horford doesn't lose any badges because of his mentorship, he might lose some badges from regression in the off-season though. The player that gets his badges from mentorship doesn't get them until player progression in the off-season.

I don't know if assigning Wemby as mentor would do much though, I think the mentor has to be close to 30+ for mentorship to work well.
