After hyping it up the whole time they end up giving us Emerald Austin and a random item code which was gone after 3 minutes. I mean no disrespect to Austin but nobody's wants a 73 rated card, that's just useless. And letting KD give out a timed random item code? Seriously?

KD's wasn't timed, it was quantity limited. If the KD one was timed, it would have been ok, since it was a random item with a shot at KD. I don't think pink diamonds should be timed codes since I like at least a little bit of diversity in lineups online, and if they did timed codes, the majority of people would have the card. But limiting a random item code to a small quantity is a little ridiculous, especially since most people just got 500 MT/VC, or a myplayer item such as shoes or a jersey. LD tweeted that there might be some codes later for international people, watch them pull out something like a pink diamond Shaq code at like 1 am west, 4 am east in the United States. That would drive me nuts. They hyped these codes up like they were going to be giving away two pink diamonds, instead they give away a random item with a slim shot at a pink diamond (probably like 5 KD's) and a code for a 73 OVR Isaiah Austin. It is just pure greed on 2k.

Well they said it is going to be beneficial for international people, so who knows what that means. It could be tomorrow morning for Europe, or it could be something that is catered to people in Asia. What drives me nuts is this tweet by Ronnie2k.

No it wasn't cool. You guys limited the code to probably around 500, and probably gave out 5 KD's. Yet in the livestream, they hyped up these codes saying follow KD, Shaq, Melo, etc since there would be codes coming for the all star week. Not to mention the debacle of the codes during the livestream, when the legend code was expired when it was announced, then when they "fix it" they release a regular VIP pack, then when they find out they messed up again, decide to release the cheapest legend pack since they already gave out a VIP pack, even though almost every gold current player is worth under 5k.

95% of the reason I get happy when I get a Pink Diamond player is because I can stop falling into their popularity-whore traps next time they give out that player.

Totally unbelievable about the short life time of random item code ... Heck most people get like 500 VC which is less than what the app gives you every day ... And yet they are so stingy to limit it to less than 1 min?

Are they trying to get us to hate 2K AND KD?

At least give people an hour ... It's not like everyone is getting PinkDiamond KD in this pack ...

What's the logic behind this??? Anyone can get a crack into the thinking process??
