I don't understand why they add these ridiculous first two challenges each week of Rookie and Pro difficulty, you'd have to be actually mentally impaired to lose the game, and the first one is basically just a contract sponge each week in which you LOSE your MT points for playing.

Even if you run all silvers or bronzes, the game lasts for 2 minutes, you're up by 10, and you get a paltry 125MT reward... Like it's not even worth the loading times in and out of the game.

Just another example of the absolute minimum effort and thought with which some of this gameplay is handled, sigh.

I wouldn't dismiss them. Ruby Bowen is a really nice reward. And some people think that PD Thurmond might be the final reward. If so, that's a huge reward.

It's all about the reward. It could be a whole lot worse.

These challenges are there for ONE reason....to soak up contracts.

Best to create a really crummy lineup of all Bronze and maybe one Silver for these pointless to waste contracts on good players/cards.

Keep in mind there are guys who grind gameplay for MT and don't know how, or don't want, to make MT otherwise.

So even these modest rewards are source of income to a lot of people. And the eventual reward card payout is significant to many. Bowen was a very, very nice reward, and K-Mart looks really nice.

I actually have come to enjoy slightly challenging myself with cheap lineups. Use All-Bronze for the 4th Quarter only Challenges. Throw in some Silvers for the 2nd Half only Challenge. And use a Gold/Silver mix for the full game Challenges.

When you use all role players, it's a lot more engaging.

Re: Half of these weekly challenges are so pointless (Rookie/Pro) difficulty

I think people are missing the point of what I was saying... It's nothing to do with the rewards, MT, etc. It's the fact that the first 2 games each week in weekly challenges are so ********ly easy and over so fast and NOT FUN that they may as just well have 3 challenges a week.

You'd have to be a drooling monkey to lose a 2 minute long game on Pro when you're already given a 10 point lead, I could probably launch the game and go AFK and still win, it's stupid.

Could they at least TRY to make them fun? Make them longer games with higher MT rewards and difficulty or something? It just reeks of minimum effort like everything else this year...
