Historic Collections

I was looking for a little advice when it comes to the historic collections. I have all but unreleased Jamaal Wilkes, Karl Malone and unreleased Robert Horry. Should I continue on trying to get Mikan or should I just sell what I have to get some MT? I am worried with how much Horry and Wilkes will cost. I don’t spend a ton on the game and am not much of a sniper. I have most of all time domination to go.

What would the best way to move forward be?

To me, if you're not spending money and not making a ton on the AH, then the question is not so much about how much more those three will cost you and more about whether or not the value of what you have right now will go up, or down, in the near future.

I guess people are saying that value goes up at least temporarily as the set becomes completable. If so, then I would advise you to sell off anything valuable as their value spikes.

I don't think Mikan or any of the Amethyst Historic Rewards are worth the value of their collections. At least not for more than another month or so.

Unless you're locking in all the historics I don't think Mikan is a good choice.
He's undersized, doesn't have lights out shooting like he did last year and he only has one HOF badge and his speed isn't amazing either. I'm personally waiting for Ruby Goodrich so I can get Mark Eaton. HOF Defensive Stopper and Rim Protector at 7'4.
