Roster & Draft Class Makers- How to avoid Name Glitch in 2k19 & 2k20

One of the main things that has frustrated me when Creating and Editing in 2k19 & 2k20 has been the Name glitch for CAPs. I finally figured out the solution. You can't Quick Edit ANY players in a Roster that has CAPS or you will end up with the glitch. If you download a Roster with CAPs and Quick edit you will get a name glitch on 1 or more of the CAPS on the Roster.

My solution is simple. You have to Export Player DNA for the Player (s) you want to edit and Quick edit them in player DNA screen and Add them back to the Roster.

I only use Quick edit, so not sure if you Edit each Player Individually if it will solve the name glitch . If anyone can confirm results from that type of edit it would be appreciated.

What is the glitch? I quick ddit all tge time and have never noticed anything, but maybe its on some rando free agent or something

Name changes. It does it mainly to players whose names are not in Name Data Base. It mainly effects College/NCAA Rosters, Historic Rosters and Draft Classes. It will hit NBA Rosters if there are a bunch of CAPS(usually missing Rookies) that have been added.

I can’t get anything to work. I make old draft classes . Have to use only nba2k names. Kind of ruins it.
