Does ball-handling affect the speed of step-backs?

Just wondering how far-reaching the effects of the ball-handling slider is because I know ball-handling affects the speed of dribble moves such as crossovers etc.

However, I'm not sure if it affects the animation speed of the step-back.

In my experience it seems ball handling, offensive consistency and offensive awareness will effect release speed on shots

That is very true...Also, increasing ballhandling slider adds more speed to passing as well; especially half court passing, in my experience.
