Is there a slider for CPU to give less emphasis on guarding the 3?

So I bought the game a couple of weeks ago and I have started a fantasy my league where all teams have a mix of historic/current players.

I play all games in 4 min quarters with 7 seconds freelance, that has four played out.

I feel the CPU is overcommitted in guarding the 3. The freelance has a pin down screen for a 3,but other than this I rarely have an open 3e.g. after help in a pick

Same is also when I defend. I will very rarely see my opponents of to be wide open because Kirilenko has closed in

I didn't have same issues in previous years

I feel this is not very realistic,is there a slider for this?

I dropped both user jumpsuit gather and release to superstar levels 52. It looks much better. CPU opponent would give SOME help/rotation.

its crazy that someone tries to make the difficulty higher,and the game itself decides that the best way to do it is by letting you dunk on a free lane after a pick,in order not to risk a 3point shot.

It is something that I would expect to see from an online cheeser (deny all) rather than a CPU program.it literally breaks the game

The game isn’t deciding that on its own, slider settings are telling it what to do. If you have jumpshot defense sliders set high, the defense is going to shut down outside shots. You can definitely make perimeter defense strong without sacrificing interior defense, it all comes down to what settings you use.
