I know it sounds weird, but try shooting with the stick. Not rhythm shooting, just shooting with the stick. For some reason I am shooting lights out with it. I’m talking about with random teams too.

Just a weird thing that’s working for me that may work for you.

Can’t argue with you on the inside shots though…it’s bad

I do tend to shoot primarily with the button so I'll try to get more shots up using the stick. A few videos I watched said rhythm shooting works really well for online too. Maybe I'm too old and fell off 🤷🏾*♂️ lol (only 41)

Why this new stuff and nothing from previous 2k’s ??

I can’t even tell when the meter is filled up or to the top when that arrow moves ??

Do I just switch to real player % and be done with it ?

Let’s not even get into the whole high risk, lows risk stuff.

I feel like over the past few years the game has been solid imo other than shooting. Felt like they made shooting way too easy.

This years game it’s like they broke everything lol it’s insane. The long court passes to terrible transition defense. The cutting is worse, even if you gap offball they’ll still cut by your defender. Everyone is shaq and curry in the paint as far as scoring goes. Random mismatches due to the cpu randomly matching up your defenders. The screens have ALWAYS been an issue with me. You get stuck on this FAR TOO OFTEN, it’s extremely unrealistic and most of the time the ball handlers move way before the screener is even set and they still stick to you allowing extremely wide open shots. Those are illegal screens that are pretty much NEVER called.

The game took 1 step forward with shooting and two steps backwards with everything else. Not a very good game this year. I don’t mind losses but the regression is a no go for me.

And one other thing, does anyone know how to breakdown the cpu on the perimeter. I can give them all kinds of moves, hesi’s, step backs, crossover, etc and they don’t budge lol no ankle breaker animations or nothing. But the minute I do it against the actual human player controlling the defender they register. It’s the the cpu defenders are glued. Alittle over powered imo. They wanna place a skill gap for shooting. I feel as though the real skill gap comes from onball defense on the defensive side. Most can’t do it. They just ball watch the cpu play defense for them and constantly switch off

I refunded 25, but i've gotten GOAT in the past 4 2ks. The counter to people spamming steal on you full court used to be holding triangle or Y to make a man on your team cut. You'd want to wait until the 5on4, crossing halfcourt, to see which ai is going to come and defend you (defending the ball) and make the guy cut for a free layup.

They nerfed the cut to basket button for some reason, I doubt it was to placate these steal spammers . You can still get the same kind of cut to basket animation as before, you just have to use animation cancels now.

It pains me to see this replay's beginning; I had to post this here for anyone else. Oh and if you want to run actual plays but can't since the other guy is blitzing you, look up DaCzar and get used to some Series. Using series for the first time successfully against the steal blitzers is heavenly.
