Anybody know when “season 2”/2nd quarter beta testing begins?

This is nothing more than a button mashing contest. No skill involved in this game whatsoever. Players with absolutely no skill can beat you due to the ease of the game. Reverted back to 2k21 and beyond. The layups being made on both sides is just ridiculous. And if the layup doesn’t register it’s a foul on you.

How can you be backed off of someone playing the drive, they still try to no-guard there way into the lane into you and YOU get called for the foul. It’s comical at this point. All this time is spent advertising “ProPlay” thousands upon thousands of offensive moves to be executed but no love for the defensive side of the ball. Only one thing pushed briefly and that’s a cutoff move. But on top of the thousands of “ProPlay” offensive moves, step backs, etc. You up the paint scoring to 99. And EVERYONE can drop step dunk on you like there Shaq. It’s no strategy involved in this game, just roll the dice and hope for the best which 90% of the time if you’re driving to the basket it works in your favor. The layup animations start so far outside of the paint that it’s no contact animation for them defensively and when you try to block them most of the time it’s a foul. It’s like a canned animation on those layups. Having a Gatorade bottle under you in the 4th quarter and being able to push the ball up the court like you’re Usain Bolt is absolutely insane.

They just completely broke the game, it’s crazy. And these are all old bugs. The settings not sticking/randomly changing. Defensive matchups randomly changing. Fatigue not having an impact. The cherry picking/transition defense issue. All things that have been fixed since 2k22. 2K24 was a good game. Only issue to me was the ease at which it was to shoot. And the picks sticking to the defenders like glue which is still an issue. Other than those they cleaned the game up pretty good imo.

What makes it even worse is not being able to consistently play with my Pistons. Losing with teams i really don’t wanna play with but forced to play with them is no fun. Something told me to wait to purchase this game. Especially being that they always wait until the last month the game releases to start showing the game. Says a lot about the product imo. Definitely won’t get me next year, that’s on everything lol No beta testing from me.

the defensive matchups switching on its own is the most infuriating ****ing thing of all time lol. when i was playing itd put my smalls on bigs and vice versa. absolutely insane. and the offballers are literally the worst ever rn. there needs to be severe punishment for not playing user D like a huge huge increase in made shots on cpu to force ppl to play D this **** is *** as ****. worst game ive ever played in my 2K career and i been playing since 2K5. broken *** game. the park and vc is the worst thing to ever happen to this franchise by far

It's not cheating, but people may call you out if you hide off ball all game. It's hard to be 100% on ball with people constantly calling for screens, rim running and lead passing into the paint. I’d say I play about 95 on ball.

What your talking about are those Wemby and embid paint camping SOB’s, Playnow is packed with a bunch of
F4660ts some of which already have 200+ wins and 10 losses and more than likely cheating.

Don’t even mind folks they off ball this year, the CPU is easy to score on and they call a ton of fouls if they leave them to guard you…

Give me some pointers 24. I’m old school, they be glued to me. I’m not with all that and 1 dribbling, I like to run plays.

But even when I do try, it’s like we got the same brain, they move when I move no matter what move I give em lol

And how do you stop the inside scoring, it’s like the most ridiculous shots go in no matter what you do. Circus shots lol

I’m lagging like crazy, stuck in mud lagging, button inputs 2 seconds later lagging
