I’m trying to go through the most recent (not even top hits, most RECENT hits) 2K25 vids posted on YouTube and it’s literally a sea of this crap one after another.

All of them the exact same template. We really live in the most basic timeline.

At this point it’s amazing 2K even has a MyNBA offline mode. No wonder they haven’t updated it at all in years upon years (other than Eras, but that was anew feature using the exact MyNBA template and borders).

And I mean, I know those thumbnails work and I know it's what draws kids in, but it's still wack. I don't always know if the ends justify the means here. There's almost an uncanny valley/Idiocracy vibe to all those uploads.

I will say, I welcome all the criticism that's likely to come (typically in the form of, "Welp, you're old and not the key demographic anymore") but having to dig my way through any and all of these banal content creator videos in order to find additional details not covered in a poorly formatted Courtside Report is completely maddening. I gave it a shot around MyEra week and tapped out. I'm pretty sure the last straw was hearing constant references to people getting rewarded for locker codes if they watched a prerequisite number of minutes of video content.

It's honestly kind of gross.

This stuff isn't intended for anyone that frequents OS, so not sure why anyone would find it too offensive. It's just goofy *** YouTubers/'influencers' doing the most click baity/cringe thumbnail possible to get engagement.
