Ok i'm playing on ps4 all-star setting.. my GM... with the knicks and i can't win a game because my players on defense keep leaving shooters wide open.. the cpu will drive to the middle drawing in my defense then kick to the outside for 3pointers.. is there anyway to stop this?

Change your POE to something eke. It's probably set to stop dribble penetration

Yes, in NBA 2K14 you have to play with point of emphasis to adjust your defense dynamically. If they are killing you from three, then adjsut your defense to Limit Perimiter Shot.

It's a simplified way of adjusting defense.

I really struggle with defense. I change my POE to stop what the CPU is doing but then they adjust and I have to keep switching my POE. Guards like tony Parker absolutely light me up. When did Parker become a great 3 pt shooter?? Any tips ? When to use, not use L2?

The CPU will change to adjust to your POE, so yes, you have to keep changing it. It's one of many reasons to make use of all your timeouts.

You can also change defensive sets, either with the D-pad or voice. Commands like "full court press" or "half court trap" work pretty well, actually.
