Shot Meter Makes Defense Irrelevant

In this game getting a perfect release gives you an A+ on release which is fine, but i dont understand why it also gives you A+ on quality which is based on defense. How can you do a near perfect contest and the shooter gets a A+ quality because hes has an excellent release. That basically makes defense irrelevant. This contributes heavily to the people who have easy jumpers are the best shooters rather, than the people with the best shooting ratings. This transforms the game to who can get the best timing rather than who can play the best to get open looks.

I dont really agree. It is nearly impossible to get greens on contested shots. I like how it takes precise timing on the open shots too.

I agree because the shooting form is what dictates how good a shooter is in this game.

No. Cardinal us right. It's almost impossible to get a green release in heavily contested shots. If you were 1 frame off, the bigger window would get you a green release. If you are defended, that window in much tighter. And the same release doesn't fall in the same window.
