Missing more shots with deadeye?

Is it me or are others with deadeye missing shots that would normally go in easy. I got deadeye 2 days ago and my shooting has been horrible since. I went from shooting about 70% in the park and at 55% in rec (pre deadeye) to shooting about 40% in the park and rec. All stats are after the patch.

Could it be now that I have deadeye, people with the perimeter defender badge are causing a negative affect on my shot?

I missed way more shots the first 5-10 park games with Deadeye.
I guess its just cause I thought I gotta try and see if Deadeye really works...

But now I dont wanna miss it anymore. Got another MyPlayer without Deadeye and Im shooting not nearly as good with him.

I got deadeye a while ago and I posted about this several times too. It really might just all be in my head but I'm fairly convinced that I've never shot as well as I used to before I got the badge.

I don't know if I would go as far to say I wish I didn't get it, but if I made another player I absolutely wouldn't grind for it again.

The most bothersome thing I've noticed since I got deadeye is that I get "Bad Shot Selection" a lot more often than before, and it's not because I'm hoisting em up everywhere. My primary objective whenever I'm in the park or rec is to take smart shots; first because I want to play smart ball and win, and second because I hate ball hogs and teammates who think they need to take as many shots as possible.

You're probably shooting a lot more bad shots because you feel like with the badge you can make it

I'm shooting a lot better with dead eye. 7/8 from 3 in rec and like 5/5 after I got it in back to back games in the rec

You may of also been playing with someone with deadeye or the offensive badge

Wouldn't Lockdown Defender just cancel Deadeye out?

Yeah, that's actually what I was thinking too, cause deadeye was sort of the "the last piece of the puzzle" and I figured I'd be drainin, so whenever I miss it definitely sticks out more to me now.
