Does Anyone Else Prefer 2K14 to 2K15?

Oh and I almost forget to mention. 2K14's exclusive dribble and pass controller vibrations. Which brings you closer into the game than 2K15 IMO.

Yes, the gameplay in 2k15 was terrible, it looked better, but it felt terrible in comparison to 14

Never thought I'd say this but yes I do prefer it.

I really got sick of 2K14 leading up to the release of 2K15 but I've been playing it here and there and I'm really starting to appreciate the gameplay more. You have so much more control over your player because there's less animations taking over.

Only thing I really dislike is the terrible rebounding and that one animation where you get bumped and your player starts stumbling around like he's drunk.

I agree with this.

I also like the way the jerseys look as well. The art style as a whole, looks a little more realistic to me. I am not saying 2K14 has better graphics than 2K15, I am just saying that the "style" looks better to me.

2K15 is very vibrant and the jerseys look a little too watery.

The art is the same in 2k15, just with terrible lighting.

Never played 2K14. How much of an impact did the Echomotion engine (was it an engine?) have?

Can I buy a used copy and just play with the default rosters? Is it possible to play a season mode?

Yes, you can play everything still on 2K14 even online quick match. Which is rather enjoyable in my opinion. I'd suggest picking up to refresh you mind on what 2K started with for next-gen!
