Why did they change the control scheme in 2k16?

I mean, is there anything you can do now that you couldn't just as easily done on the older control scheme? It's hard for me to adjust.

I don't get it either... NBA Live 16 controls are so much easier. Even 2k15 controls were ok.

The controlls in 2k16 are an improvement over 15 bro... Just adjust, adapt and quit whining.

The controls of 2k16 are much more simplified for the most part, no need to press trigger and button to throw an ally or bounce pass.

You can get in and out of the post very easily and naturally with LT. It functions as a very intuitive protect ball stance on the perimeter, sort of the analog of LT for physical defense on the offensive side of the ball.

Y worked as a post button but it was always a little odd.

I do miss the feel of LT + A for bounce pass though.
