I was just playing MyGM on PS4 and out of nowhere, i hear "Welcome fans to the FIBA World Championship" Am I hearing it right?

Why is this audio file in the game? Was it meant to play at that time or was it a bug?

Now that I'm thinking about it it could have been from a scrapped portion of MyCareer that included a European aspect. Like if you went to Europe instead of college and made it to the championship game. Just spitballing. I don't believe that 2K has ever featured the FIBA teams. Live did some years back, though.

Didn't they hav e FIBA during the Jay-Z year. What 2k was that? I think 13.

Really? I'm not sure, I'll have to look. I know that it had the Dream Team and that last Team USA. Not sure if there were any others. I have 2k13 on the PS3 I'm gonna have to check later...
