Not getting VC for practice

In my career Practice I shoot around after doing the coaches drills. It shows the VC icon for things like hitting a 3 pointer on each basket, shot made over the backboard....eat. However when I leave practice no VC has been added. I have the same amount as when I started. What am I missing?

Ok. I thought maybe it was something I wasn't doing. I spent a lot of time shooting around thinking it would add VC eventually. Lol

Can anyone else confirm its a flaw in the game? Does it work for anyone?

Considering...

• The side drills don't add temporary boosts
  
• The drills and players in them have no intelligent thought (ie. Big men who can't shoot doing 3pt drills, 1v1 full court etc.)
  
• The whole gatorade practice screen and "response time" stat are useless and bugged.
  
• It doesn't take much to discern that you probably don't receive your VC pittance for doing the extras in practice.
