Defensive points of emphasis explanation

Hi guys

Please help me cause I am a bit lost and english is not my 1st language

Last year in defense we had limiter perimeter shoots / neutral / and protect the paint

This year I see

a) no 3s
b) straight up
c) shrink the floor
d) default

Can someone explain these to me?

I guess no 3s is limit perimeter shots,
what is straight up and shrink the floor?

Is shrink the floor = protect the paint from previous years and striaght up= neutral?

Re: Defensive points of emphasis explanation

This is one thing that I really miss about old video games, the little instruction manual that would explain everything that you would need to know. They put all this work into making a game, and then they don't even give a detailed explanation of what each attribute, badge, and point of emphasis actually does. Naming a new attribute "intangibles" without explaining what it does, is a recipe for disaster, as each person is going to say "hey" this player has high intangibles, and then when something unintended happens, nobody knows why.

Honestly doesn't at the moment as all manual points of ephasis/adjustments are completely broken.

Re: Defensive points of emphasis explanation

shrink the floor is protect the paint

junk is cause chaos from 2k14 iirc

stay home sounds like it could be either 1 or 2 people stay back on d

OR

people stand their ground

switch everything causes crazy match ups like pf guarding a g

the first one is right
the rest are from Google searches and my interpretation.

Re: Defensive points of emphasis explanation

I think that one keeps its name from 2k16. on this setting shooters will have plays called for them and the bigs will set screens to get them open.

from a trial run this , the Warriors freelance seems to go hand in hand
