Re: Post patch sliders and shooting %

You guys with such high scores should try playing on real fg% instead of user timing it's a big difference

The problem is that the previous tuning was built on a perimeter-oriented CPU. Now they attack the paint, passes are faster and there are many contested close shots going in and in general too many fouls (i refer to outcomes not numbers)

Time for Mike to do another slider adjustment post patch. It bugs me that I'm able to score over 30 by the first quarter.....

It's a solution but it does not affect CPU. And it won't solve pace problems.

There are essentially two problems

High shooting %
Too many double teams (=shorter possessions)

We need new tuning updates. When we worked together on those sliders we focused on 3pts. Now we have to rebalance everything starting from the paint...

Re: Post patch sliders and shooting %

I'm experiencing this as well. The shooting percentages are almost extremely higher than before. This patch pretty much eliminated the SS/HOF changes that mike implemented. I'm happy with the timeout adjustments finally working & the fixed Bucks/Knicks courts but I surely wouldn't have updated had I know it would screw with the gameplay. Every game is a shootout now. I was just starting to make extended progress in my MyLeague season smh.

Re: Post patch sliders and shooting %

Anyone playing on HOF with adjust sliders? Remember all sliders are at 50 by default since 2k removed gamestyles

Re: Post patch sliders and shooting %

I've taken my sliders for scoring way down and that has really done the trick in keeping me AND the cpu under 50% shooting on average.

close shot, mid range are 40. 3 point is 35. Contact shot success is 35.

I also upped the defense for layup and shot on the gather by about 10 (from the default HOF sliders).

I only played one game post patch but didn't notice much difference for me as it relates to shooting %'s
