Post patch sliders and shooting %

Guys, what numbers are you seeing? I think we need to rework together to build a new set of SS/HOF offline sliders..

Higher shooting percentages across the board. Passing speed was increased and there are many open shots that were contested before. The AI is shooting more from the paint. In general numbers are higher for both user and AI

This should have been posted in the slider forum.

The original slider adjustment that was done to HOF, and SS were in this forum started about Myleague simmed stats. Mike Wang then updated the HOF and SS sliders to what we have now based off us giving him feedback. The pre gameplay patch update had the game player very nice to the sliders.

Here or in the impressions thread probably the best place to place it.

I am sure you PS4 guys can tell us what you think. If passing is so easy and fast that you can get passes in the lane then it will be harder to find a balance.

Still ridiculously high % due to terrible CPU defense.

I play offline, by the way.

Yep garbage. It's 65-65 at the half of A Twolves Lakers game. I'm really starting to hate patches

90-90 after 3qtrs. This is just stupid. I'm so mad. It's playing like 2k16 now

Pretty much this. I'm playing my first game after the patch and the AI decided to double team Lillard EVERY possession, leaving either the PF or C alone in the paint. And since shots in general are going down much easier, everyone is shooting at least 50% from the floor. This is on HOF.

The CPU defense was garbage out of the box. The patch had nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, it's just not playable for me right now.

I'm surprised more people aren't seeing this. It's so bad, it's laughable. You or the CPU can literally throw inside to an open guy 98% of the time for an easy basket.

Maybe with the small fixes, like the Bucks court, people will finally start seeing how awful the CPU defense is in NBA 2K17. It's the worst I've ever seen. Contested shots going in, is also a major issue.

They went this year on the way of removing hidden bonuses for the CPU on HOF, which is not a bad idea at all, except that they needed to make sure that the defense worked as intended, and it simply doesn't. You can SORT of fix help D on the user side with Sam Pham's settings, but that doesn't help for the CPU. You use those settings, and now you're even more OP than before.

Messing with the shooting sliders and settings doesn't really work either since you get so many open shots that even with mediocre releases they'll go in.

I lost 131-120, mainly Bc I was so pissed off. I hate that there is even less defense. I was able to pass in the paint at will and score within 7 secs of the play clock. It's arcade basketball. Not sim.
                            Here's som stats
                            Lal 52/108 48%
                            12/27 3p 44%

                            Min 48/88 55%
                            8/22 3p 36%

                            Pip 62-74

Just seriously think I'm playing the game from last year. Very disgusting

That's an average game for me, too.

When the CPU defense manages to play well, though.
