What does the old 2k bball have over the current gen?

1. Better Presentation
2. Better Atmosphere
3. Smarter AI? (Arguable)

Crew mode
A working customer service hotline with human to human conversation.
NO VC
Unlimited my players
5 vs 5 matchmaking for walk on park and crew mode. You didn't have positions all mixed up.
Isolation controls
Community manager actually responded to you on forums.

-Ability to download specific players and teams from community creations rather than a whole roster.

-Better soundtracks.

-Faster / simpler simulated seasons in association mode.

That's about it, 2k's progression over the last 2 years has been solid compared to that 2k15 travesty, so I'm satisfied.

Smoother movement.
Better jump shooting mechanics.
Better AI.
Better MyCareer.

It might not seem like much, but when movement and shooting are fundamental to basketball, last gen is the superior game to me.

A MyCareer unrestricted by archetypes.
But inferior gameplay, especially compared to 2k17.
2k17 plays beautifully.

Better AI? The current game is incredibly deep, previous gen could make very basic decisions.

I hate the archetype system for one. Could actually create legit star players back in the day. Now you have to be a role player and it's a massive grind to get there. Overall just not as fun in my opinion. Fun factor matters.
