I’m about to give up on this game. Though most likely no fault of the game. I was awesome at 2k16. I could do everything and the controls were slick to me.

2k17 I was terrible and 2k18 I’m epically bad. I’ve played 35 games with OKC. I’m 0-35 and I haven’t come within 20 points of winning with most games losing by 35-50 points.

I haven’t shot >35% in any game. I turn the ball over like crazy. Westbrook gets his stats but is shooting 27%.

For comparison I also can’t play madden without throwing 8 interceptions per game either. So I’ve come to the conclusion I’m too damn old for sports games. It was great while it lasted.

I kinda understand your pain as someone who came from NBA Live and the first 2K on Sega Dreamcast.

if you're 0-35 u need to turn down the difficulty.

Wow, I'm old school too but I'm still kinda NICE with the sticks. . . switch-up your difficulty, your sliders, rosters etc. Dust yourself off and try again. . .

Man I gotta ask, after going 0-35 and with that point differential, is it pride stopping you from lowering the difficulty?
You're not already on the lowest difficulty right?

I went 0-23 with Dallas. I switched to a Philly Myleague (didnt adjust sliders or difficulty) and went 46-36.

I don't understand how a game as customizable as nba2K can be too hard. Even if you were the worst player in history, wich you most likely aren't even close to be, you could find a way to balance the CPU.

What difficult level are you playing on ?

Started on all star went down to pro. Turned passing up to like 100. I still turn the ball over way too much. I also miss wide open shots, easy layups...everything.

I simmed the first season completely and the team won the championship (without Carmelo and George) so it’s not like it’s a bad team either.

FYI I don’t use the shot stick. Did they change something where you get penalized for shooting with the button instead?

You can still use the button. It's all about making yourself comfortable. I usually jump in these threads and say Bye. But you seem much genuine then those other post I've seen.

Hit me if your on the PS4. I can drop some tips.

Yeah I’m not complaining about the game at all. Its obviously awesome. It’s more just a funny post to say I’ve lost any skill I’ve ever had.

What do you mean when you say you suck though ? Do you feel too slow to react on time ? Is it your stick skills that are gone ? Or is it the way you play the game and run your team ? How old are you ?
