Sounds like this is just a hint towards yet another cliché MyCareer storyline.

I'm guessing you're gonna start in High School as some basketball prodigy like in 2k16 and you'll just work up to the NBA from there.

I will. I will not preorder the game like I did in the previous years. I am going to try prelude, see how it plays, wait a couple of weeks after the release, see what people whose judgement I trust say about the game and then see if I am going to buy it. I can wait, season starts in October anyways. Cannot understand why someone would pay extra to play the game 4 days before the official release. 4 days.

Eh I'll wait for gameplay impressions. I just want less canned animations and way more physics-based gameplay.

At least FIFA 18 felt good this year offline, especially with a lot of gameplay modding. No amount of sliders felt right in 2K18.

I must be getting old because i miss the days that a video game was about the video game. If video games are a means of entertainment and escapism then why add that other stuff to it. With all due respect to 2k and Lebron, i couldnt care less about his story and the unique words to describe it when i throw the disk into my gaming system. Im trying to play a video game for a couple of hours and then turn it off and go to bed. Stop trying to indoctrinate and condition peoples minds that way.
