2K19 Can Learn From Madden 19 (Player Pics)

NBA 2K19 needs to return to the old way that they used to show player pictures in roster menus (the player's face with a generic shirt). Madden is doing this in their roster menus because they know it looks good.

Please get rid of the ridiculous way that 2K has been handling player pictures in recent iterations of the series (the player action photos that entirely disappear and become replaced with computerized models when a player changes teams). It just looks so messy and inconsistent when half the team has pictures, and the other half are computerized.

To some degree I can see how this is useful. They need to rely on moderators that can fix this problem from them. I like them when they work lol.

I hope they do this too. I personally hate the action shots of players, and think the menu in MyLeague/MyGM would look much cleaner and realistic with just the head shot of players. I know they had the screenshot of the all star game with this, but I hope it's like that when going through the rosters too.

Yeah that was the one thing that disappointed me from the MyLeague blog, seeing Trae Young still doing that stupid action pose they give to dudes with no picture. Some people will say its a small thing but for people who play ML it's such an eye sore seeing rookies/fictional dudes using one of a dozen different animated poses mixed with players with real life pictures.

They had this right with last gen 2k just using head shots and other sports games do the same so it's very surprising to see 2k behind in this area for another year.

BUT, I think we can all agree that the poses are the worst part. I think everyone would be happy with just the faces, or if its full body in uniform, just standing. I think I prefer the game generated to the player faces, only because its consistent with draft class players.
