As long as 2k stays part of Take-Two nothing will ever change. Or in other words as their CEO said this year: "We havent monetarized the players enough". -

Online is poopoo right now. Not surprised one bit.
Offline there's so much to love but it's being tainted by the bad taste in my mouth from Rec/Park. Spamming is the meta.Comment

When they do what they've done the last 2 days, what do people expect?
Most of those reviews are just historic grudges no doubt, but the goodwill they'd built up with this years release disappeared when they changed the rules as soon as the game was out for everyone, then promised to put it back, then nerfed it again.Comment

Congrats dude, really happy for you.
They nerfed the xp across the board by about 30%, the community kicked off, zach promised to put it back as it was, but with an added boost for park players, gave the boost to park players but still nerfed xp for some of us.Comment

i understand the frustration with the microtransactions.
but as an offline only player(i might jump online to play with friends occasionally but thats it) i realllllly dont care about how bad the microtransactions are. it effects me 0%.
so i just want people like me to know that they should not be discouraged by the poor user reviews if you mostly just stick to myleague and dont care about making your myplayer a 99 overall.Comment

The thing is, it's been that way for a long time. 2k is the GOAT offline sports franchise and that's all that matters to me.

My strategy is as follows:
Make a created player..player lock him in myleague..play till I have 100K VC..THEN I play mycareer. Works nicely for me every year. No EFFIN WAY I'm playing a single game in Mycareer at 60 overall lol.

As a ProAM only guy, I'm just afraid to make a character. Maybe the grind is not as bad but I'm sure it still sucks. The whole shady XP thing definitely hurts. I might have a more unique viewpoint since I also play Pro Clubs on FIFA and their mode is 100000000000000000000x more user friendly (rare for an EA game) and it makes 2K so much more frustrating. In FIFA I can change positions, "badges", and height/weight, while 2K locks it all. It's just ridiculous and unfun. 2K has put so much effort into the mode then makes it intentionally less enjoyable.51 & 55

Fan reviews on Metacritic are always ridiculous and silly.
People don't actually vote 1-10. They vote 1 to tank the score on purpose and they do it every year with 2k. It has nothing to do with the actual game and has everything to do with personal vendettas.
