Will 2k update player portraits and action shots?

Hi,

A lot of players on still have generic mugshots and action portraits. This included players who signed or were traded during last season (e.g. Blake Griffin). Still they don't have updated portraits.

While this is by far not a game killer, it is however an immersion breaker.

Do you think that 2k will update these along the way like they did last year? Last year every player had last games portraits at launch. They updated them with the new nike uniforms after media day. Personally, I don't think that's how they operate this year, as some players have already updated graphics, others don't.

I know that they have done it in the past, but I just don't remember when.

last year was right before the season started, a lot of the updated portraits and action shots were from preseason. Probably get an update this week

I hope they do. I remember they did it around the 2nd week of the season IIRC.

It's weird looking at Amir Johnson in a Boston jersey when he already had a portrait of him in a Sixers one last season when they updated it.
