I'm usually one to roll with the shooting year to year and just adjust to however it's tuned, but honestly, I would like a buff to full white bar shots or open shots.

Right now we don't fear shooters outside Golden State the way we should. The early meta online is "play zone since guys can't make you pay." and that can't be a thing...this is the NBA.

Right now we don't fear shooters outside Golden State the way we should. The early meta online is "play zone since guys can't make you pay." and that can't be a thing...this is the NBA.

One thing I noticed is that even if you green a wide open shot it is no longer a guaranteed make for everyone(it's more like 95-98%) and you also seem to be punished more for mistiming it, I wonder if that is causing an issue.

I might also have to beg Czar to put back in the 2-3 zone and Horns freelance sets lol. It feels like I was the only one that used them but those were my go to freelances when people ran a zone. I loved them.

I like the shooting as is. Play Now Offline (All-Star/Superstar) and Play With Friends Online (HOF) feedback i have.

If Play Now Online Player Control is any indication of how shooting is online then it's fine. I've seen a blend of people that don't know releases missing wide open and people that do know releases making their shots.

What was interesting is that in Czar's shooting video, he said a full white bar doesn't necessarily raise your percentage. It's either green or a set percentage.

I wonder if it's always been like that or if that's 2K20's design.

If true, that’s ridiculous. Shooting is too fundamental to the game of basketball to make the percentages so binary. Hard for me to believe that’s the route they chose intentionally.

Just for clarification - when someone says they got a full white bar, are they talking about a slightly early/slightly late release? Because I've never see an entirely full bar other than a green release, and it doesn't take much of a timing miss to go from slightly early/late to just "early/late".

Basically, I want to know if there's a designation I'm missing between "Slightly" and Green.

Personally I feel like my "Slightly"s go down at a close to realistic rate. It might be tuned a bit lower than real life frequency because of greens making up the rest of the make %. Early/Late is where my %'s really drop.
