Has shooting got any better?

I played this game when it came out and just couldn't deal with the shooting. It was horrible. Have they done anything to it yet? I traded it in the week I bought it.

Yeah, it's been decent for a while now. Much better than it was at launch.

Shooting is 2k17 again 50 3p can green corners with 60 3p you can go 5/5 easily from the top.

Its terrible.

I liked the shooting at launch, I actually had to adjust my sliders recently to compensate with the patch/updates. To each his own lol

Turning the meter off definitely gives you way too much boost to your shot.

I don't remember shooting (after badges and ratings) not being too high. It's been too "better" for multiple years. Have you seen any pro am games?

If anything shooting is too easy right now once you have hot zones and max out your hot zone hunter badge you won't miss often unless you're having connection issues with the 2K servers or you've selected a bad jump shot animation.

Bronze catch and shoot + silver corner specialist + gold hot zone hunter + hot zones will let you make about 66% of your corner threes with any build that has at least a 50 three point rating.

I have a pure slasher PG and pure athletic finisher C with mid-50s three ratings and my friend TheFinalEvent who posts on this forum has a slashing defender C with a similar rating and we all hit threes consistently with those builds.
