Salary Cap and Throwback Myleagues

I'm intending on doing a myleague centered around the early or mid-2000s. However, does anyone have a way to make contracts and salary cap work for a 2000s setting?

Re: Salary Cap and Throwback Myleagues

Only way is take the salary cap of the year you are replicating and by what percentage the current cap is higher and edit all your contracts yearly amounts by that percentage.

For example the cap in 2003-04 was $43.84m where as the cap for the 2019-20 season is $109.14m, a 249% increase. So if you wanted to adjust LeBrons salary for example you would take his $4.02m salary for that year and multiply it by the 249% increase and edit his salary to be $10.01m
