Again, they'll prioritize who they have done already likely before all this pandemic stuff went down.

And the new season doesn't begin until January, rookies haven't been added & they still have faces hidden for two-way players. Obviously, the cycle for this game as far as NBA content has been thrown out the window & people need to be patient.

Last year doesn't matter because no pandemic, no launch of next gen titles (which means using same assets/face scans) & plenty of other updates (rookies, jerseys, court art & classic players).

Unless we are in the meetings or have direct line with production, they'll update when or who they can. Or go the PC route where all these updates can happen much, much faster.
