Classic Teams on NBA 2K Xbox S/X - PS5

I created this thread to talk about classic teams on next-gen NBA 2K. Current gen started pretty well but although we have more classic teams, the number of random players to fill those teams has been increasing, which is not a good sign.

What do you expect of classic teams on the next-gen? A restart with less teams but less random players? Same teams with many random players? New teams? This is more focused on 20th century classic teams and the early 00s.

I share some old school teams that I wish to be added to the game:
50s Minneapolis Lakers (first dynasty)
63-64 Cincinnati Royals (Big O, Jerry Lucas...)
Warriors/Sixers Prime Wilt Chamberlain
Warriors Rick Barry & Nate Thurmond
Braves Bob McAdoo
Bulls before Jordan, 70s Sloan or 80s Gilmore
Bullets Unseld-Hayes
Sonics champions
80s Spurs (Gervin) or Nuggets (English)
83 76ers champions

Features:
Old school filters and overlays for each era (2K12)
Option to choose no three-point line
Less random players, filled teams
At least one opponent from the same or previous/following season
A game mode with classic teams
Player tendencies and playbooks adjusted to team era
Old school rules (no 14 shot clock reset)

Key players:
(Barkley, Miller, Wallace... no real expectation)
Wes Unseld
Jerry Sloan
Hal Greer

Improved face scans:
Larry Bird
Shawn Kemp

More Classic teams would be nice, but I wouldn’t count on it...I’m hoping for retro filters. Which Shouldn’t be an issue on Next gen hardware.

good thread because I can't wait to see if Shawn Kemp and Larry Legend look like goofs compared to current players or if they went for a deep dive and made them look awesome too? place your bets

I'd love if more games in general offered filters. Naughty Dog knocked it out of the park with Uncharted 4 and Last of Us 2. Doom Eternal had an update with a cool set of filters. Would love to see 2k and other sports games offer this has well. They could probably do a filter for each decade or generation.

Each decade for sure. They did this in 2k12 and it was so freakin beautiful. I can only imagine how much better they could do it on a console with 10+ TFLOPs

Oh for sure, those old filters were awesome and the no three-point line on vintage games. I'm gonna try to edit OP with the suggestions.
