Will 2k9 Look Better On PS3? Look inside!!!

Since I got the 3 Rings of Death I decided to boot up the old PS3, and load up 2k8. I notice it was a lot darker in 1080p. And then I decided to do some replay close ups.

And low and behold. 2ksports are using a different skin texture system with the PS3, are they getting more polygons on PS3 with the cell processor. Look at how much more detailed these player models are.....

PS3 Screens - Take with cheap *** Kodak 3.2 megapixel camera.

1080p - LG LCD.

no its not, Maybe it may look better if you zoom in during replay but that does nothing when playing. I have a 62 inch tv and i could easily tell the difference between the PS3 and 360 versions. The 360 looks a lot better. Especially on a standard tv jesus the ps3 version looked like it was full of jaggies

The colors in almost every game always look better on 360 than PS3. I have both consoles as well and can comfirm this.

I thought the colors on the 360 were more washed out than the PS3, but Beluba did say the difference was only that the two systems used the pixels differently.

I think the game runs smoother on Ps3...The darker colors are fine to me.

NBA 2K does run real smooth on the PS3, I also got 2k8 on the 360 and I can see the difference.

people always talk about the colors. just adjust your tv. each consoles output should be adjusted. I adjust every video device in my home, dvd players, vcr's, satellite, everything. taking one system and then hooking up another one without adjustment does neither one justice.

by the way. got the 3 rings last week as well....seems to happen just about this time each year. Im just glad it happens the week or 2 before my main games drop.

Until you get it online and it runs 30 frames per second
