Do offense sliders do anything in this game?

I have been shooting so terrible lately that i upped my offensive sliders all up to 53 (except for 3pt. slider i put at 60)_ and in the game i played after that i shot 38% from the field and i was 2/17 on three-pointers. There is something very wrong here...i should have shot at least 53% w/ those sliders. Especially since i was taking open shots almost everytime. And what's even stranger is sometimes w/ these sliders i will shoot 65%??? So what exactly is going on w/ this game...i'm playing the SAME way so why do i miss WAY more shots in some games than in others? actually i don't think i've ever shot over 50% on three's in a single game and i play w/ the hawks for christ sakes, and i can't figure out j. crawfords shot for anything, he's 39% from the field while everyone else on the team is high 40's-50%
I just busted out laughing at one point because it was so funny that i couldn't make a shot...this just drives me mad because i never saw this in 2k9.

Probably your release timing. I know for a fact that it varies with every jump shot. Try using Yi's jump shot or Ray Allen's

you completely made that up, that's not how sliders work. maybe you're just worse at the game than you think you are, jumpers go down fine.

I have that problem with shooting 3s. I have a SG rated at 90 for 3pt shot and I've had to up the 3pt slider to 54 because all he throws is bricks even wide-open. His shooting percentage from beyond the arc is often 25%. Even with these settings and ratings it seems like the only time I can hit 3s consistently is if I do the weekly 3pt practice on normal. I've gone for an entire game only hitting like 1 of 7 3s. That is just so wrong. Maybe it is the release but it seems like the 3pt average has gotten worse the higher his 3 pt rating has increased. Other players with lower 3pt ratings are more consistent hitting them. I think 2K is just out to keep my SG from becoming an All-Star. :-)

Couldn't agree w/ you more man...I Have jamal Crawford shooting at 33% from 3pt land, Yet i have Mo Evans shooting 45% from deep...and i even lowered evans 3pt. attribute down to 50 and he still usually goes 3 of 5 in a game...It's partly unfair because Mo has a very simple release, as long as you basically touch the button he'll release it the right way. But w/ Joe johnson and jamal crawford i've struggled, last year i didn't have this problem...2k should make high 3pt. attribute players have easier releases, but i guess that just makes too much sense.

Another thing that makes me angry is when you go into practice mode you can't control the game speed or the player speed. So since i play my regular season games with game speed at 75%, whenever i go into practice mode it feels like i'm in slow motion. So practice basically does nothing but make me worse, since the slower speed throws my timing off

I still cannot make shots w/ jamal crawford, even after upping his 3pt attribute, just went 0-6 on three's in my last game...does anyone else have this problem?

Another thing I've noticed about shooting 3s is that my SG with a 90 3pt rating will miss the wide-open shots. But will usually sink the 3 if the shot is contested. That just shouldn't happen!
