Just sitting here playing NFL2k5 franchise and i forgot they had sportcenter at the end of every week. This would had been GREAT in 2k11. I could just imagine how good this would have been in the NBA 2k series.

If this hasn't happend in their basketball titles while they had the ESPN license, it wouldn't happen today. I like NFL 2K5's presentation a lot(!), but none of 2K's old basketball games had a presentation that good. To me, the current presentation with no license is much better than when they had the license. I guess it only meant to happen in their football games, NFL 2K5 in particular.

It sucks, but it's not necessary. 2K could have done their own show without ESPN licensing.

Also when they had the licensing, they never made any kind of show like that in anything but the NFL games anyway.

Have to ask, how exactly did they sellout? Exclusive deals are all over the place.

And as others have pointed out, when NFL & NBA 2k both were around, NBA got the stepchild treatment. There are no guarantees that this game in general would be as good as it is, much less the presentation.
