Here's my knock-off version of Sport Science.

At 7:54, watch Aminu sprint from half-court (10.2 seconds left on the game clock) to the foul line (9.1 seconds) in just over one second.

The distance from half to the foul line is 28ft. So he ran 28ft in 1.1 seconds. I calculated what his time would be for the 75ft sprint and found it to be 2.946 seconds. His actually time at the Draft Combine was 3.30 seconds.

Moreover, this website (http://speedendurance.com/2010/06/08...-sprint-times/) calculated what Usain Bolt's 75ft sprint time would be: 2.95 seconds.

That's right, 2K's Al-Farouq Aminu is faster than Usain Bolt.

Hilarious, and if accurate, startling.

But I'm all for adding contact on cutters, but even with no one there, there shouldn't be a speed boost.

Most lead passes are right on the money. Notice how bad passes are bobbled passes. Even the long passes. 2k needs to have more errant passes. I dont know how ranked matches will turn out, but If lead passes are still too accurate in traffic and the collision detection isnt up to par then lead pass will be a main stay again.

Very true, that's why I stated pretty much the same point you made.

Re: Remove ALL artificial speed boosts ( i.e lead passing)

i don't really notice "speed boosts" on lead passing so much in 2k11...the only thing that isn't quite right with lead passing is how you can make players change direction drastically on a dime without them having to plant their feel...this is really my only problem with lead passing at the moment.
