Re: Do You Ever Simulate Association Games?

I always sim the first season, then play a few games here and there during the season. I'll usually play game 7's in the playoffs unless I make it to the NBA finals, where i'll play every game.

I play a game, then sim 5. I play all playoff games as well, or any games toward the end that determine seed/playoff spot.

Re: Do You Ever Simulate Association Games?

I agree with what everyone is saying. I pretty much only play interesting/exciting games(LOB ANGELES CLIPS, lake show, suns, knicks, pacers, thunder, grizz, heat, etc.)and to develop my players so when i sim they have realistic stats. And i'll definitely play games to make playoffs. I play all deciding playoff games, i play all finals games. And i usually play the first games of all playoff series. Oh and all-star game.

Re: Do You Ever Simulate Association Games?

I'm more of the General Manager kind of guy when it comes to playing Association. I mainly do all of the key signings and scouting and let the computer simulate all of the games. I do, however, play important games that could determine if I make the playoffs or not and I do play all of my Postseason Games. I just find it boring repeatedly moving the ball up the court, scoring, then going back on defense. I just can't imagine playing all 82 games like that. It would kill me.

Re: Do You Ever Simulate Association Games?

I usually play about a game a month and simulate the rest. Then i play about one game per playoff series. I like to have an association for many years and see how the league changes, watch guys retire and new blood enter. furthest i ever got was in 2k11, had an association that was in year 2030.

I play 2 of every 5 games (unless there is a key game that I really want to play) and 1st, 4th, and 7th game of playoff series.

Re: Do You Ever Simulate Association Games?

i only sim. never play unless im testing to see how good or bad my team plays with each other. it makes the game funner for me because i like to make modes like that feel as if i'm really the GM of the team or teams i am in control of
