The "Loose Ball Foul" Animation is such bs....

I can't tell you how many times I go for a simple lay up and if I miss a colliding animation kicks in and I get called for a foul.

There is no control over it whatsoever and it drives me crazy. Why is an animation like this even in the game? It probably wouldn't be so bad if you could actually move your player out of the way to avoid the foul but no go, it's just one of those things I guess.

You answered your own question in your post.

Yeah there's nothing you can do. Good thing it doesn't happen ofter though.

It happens often enough. But I wouldn't have any problem if from time to time would be called for the team on defense.

Oh that happens to me too and I'm not complaining about that, if I foul I deserve to be called on it.

But to have an animation kick in and there is no way of stopping or controlling it at all is taking it a tad bit too far.

Let's not forget the phantom "over the back" calls where the defender is 6 feet from the basket and is near noboby.
