2k CG/Last gen appreciation thread

I would just like to thank 2k sports for giving us a great basketball experience overall for the 360/PS3 generation...sometimes it was bumpy, but overall what would I have done without you considering over 75% of my gaming over the last 7 years has been dedicated to basketball...I would like to see everyone post their thoughts and experiences from last gen...looking forward to another generation dominated by 2k basketball and it looks to be off to a great start...so, let's show the devs some love guys...they've worked hard for us...

This gen has definitely had its highs and its lows, but I'm just happy they ended it on a great note with 2k14.

Definitely looking for to the start of the next gen on Nov. 15th.

Ive been playing Live since the Sega days and thought EA would always dominate basketball games. Then in 05 I saw NBA2K5 for $20 and decided to give it a try. First game I played was Cle vs Det. Had an open lane and tried to drive with Lebron only to be met at the rim by Big Ben Wallace who bodied Lebron up, caused me to miss a dunk and fall to the floor. Thats all she wrote, have been hooked since that day.

I'm still gonna need to see a little more about next gen though, what i've seen so far doesn't quite justify purchasing a 700$ (400 + about 50/yr on psn plus for six years) console, to me at least.
