Hot Streaks drop in the pool of Boosts, not Energy. Boosts/Hot Streaks reset the board, Energy does not.

So a lot more rare this time around. I got 3 boost so far too i think and still 0 HS...

Jesus....more of the pay to win bs i suppose. I was wondering why I'm getting energy still and 0 hs after 500 points and about 4 boosts. You'll be lucky to draft 1hs the whole rc like this. Now with no ability to earn credits everyday (I don't have 2k15) it's just getting stupid.

It seemed like the drop rate on more rare cards were boosted during RC, is this the case this year?

Not for me... 400+ games (all +5, currently ~14th), 0 HS, 0 UR or Epic (Epic level 1 or UR++, been changing up every so often), a handful of SR, a TON of Rare, 3 boost (i think), and a handful of enhancements

How many points would people say I'd need to get in the top 100,000? I'm in super rare tier right now, so just getting a super rare card in this thing at the moment is fine with me.


And it seems like many people are going with that "all or nothing" strategy. Putting 2 or 3 cards above the tier they're in,1 card that's in their tier, and then 2 common cards. So basically, if you can beat the 1 card that's in your tier, you can easily beat them since the 2 common cards are automatic wins and the 2 above your tier cards are automatic losses.

Safe to say, I'm like the only person in this entire game who doesn't have an ultra rare spurs card lol

Depending how often people win,and how much they value their W-L record, I'd say +5 is probably the best option in this. Lets say for every 100 games, you go 90-10 on +3 and 55-45 on +5. Do the math, +5 would get you more points, even though you win over 30 more games on +3.
