Much Help Needeed! Buy Packs or Buy Players from Auction?

Alright, so I just got into the Super Rare ++ tier, and I was wondering what is the quickest way to level up tiers? Do you get a guaranteed Tier card for every sub tier you move up or just actual tiers, for example do you get a card 100 percent on the first draft board for every tier, or sub tiers as well? Is it better to buy packs or buy players? I have around 600 Credits right now with 2 super rare's on the auction right now, so around 1000 Credits. What are the best packs to buy for the tier I'm at right now. Have around 250 games played, anyways much help needed, thanks!

Honestly, the quickest way now is to get into the top 1000 in the Rivals Clash. If you need some UR cards, I can sell them to you for less than the minimum to help you out. I wouldn't buy any packs as you may get a Rare or less if you buy one of the cheaper ones. Let me know by PM if you're interested in some Ultra Rares. I've got 10-15 that I'm totally willing to help you out with.

Or even an Epic or two you can slowly train up as you get other cards. I have a crapload of epics that I'd be happy to give you a good buyback on to make it cheap for you. Just PM me and I will give you a list of untrained Epics I would let go to help you getting rolling.

But it doesn't help if he doesn't have cards to train with. Honestly just play quick games AMAP buying packs got me through a lot of my starting days but it's more expensive to buy players. People are sharks essentially Tryin to get better cards consider that.

So here are my thoughts:

You can pay 1200 credits for the ultra rare card pack which will drop a 95% chance of an UR and 5% to get an epic instead. You can get an UR on the AH for 600 credits and an epic for 800 - except you get to choose the position and player instead of it being random. Conclusion - Ultra Rare Packs are a waste of money.

You can pay 2500 credits for the Epic card pack which will drop a 95% chance of an Epic and 5% to get a legendary instead. You can get an epic on the AH for 800 credits and a legendary for 2000 - except you get to choose the position and player instead of it being random. Conclusion - Epic card packs are a waste of money.

Are the other card packs a waste of money? I guess that is completely subjective as the proven and potential, hall of fame, mvp, all-star versions of cards are far superior to the regular cards of the same tier (throwback Thursday cards are trade-able). Although obviously a complete waste of money if you are either a) not in star tier, or b) not a collector trying to fill out their card catalog. I think the real question is why have the prices for the packs not gone down since the AH has been released?
