So does anybody know if our ladder rewards start immediately upon logging in (ie double picks etc.) or do we have to "activate" them somewhere in-app?

I think they "activate" as soon as you log in. At least that's what I've gotten from reading Brad and Danan's posts.

However, what I'm wondering is the rewards "expire" after a certain point. In other words, how soon/how late can you log in and still be able to claim the loyalty rewards.

If it is the same as last year, I believe they shouldn't expire. There are those here who had alternative account(s) with the Spurs loyalty rewards that were able to claim them when they started the alternative account a few months ago. joenuts was one IIRC.
