Team Play Coming!

As you climb, you’ll be able to take home Team-specific rewards. The rewards for team play come in the form of Team Perks and Super Perks, which give you buffs as you play MyNBA2K16. Some of these Super Perks that you get in events are exclusive to Team play rewards. We’ll have more to say about the new Perks, in addition to Goals, next week. With team play, we wanted to raise the bar and give you more to do with your squad. We think you’ll love competing in Rivals Clash and Road to the Championship alongside your Team in the next update.

Rewards are meh though so that's pretty disappointing. I wish they would just add actual team events where you play as a team and the rewards are cards and not useless team perks.

This is strange.

I do agree though. Foiler alert is utterly useless. I'd rather have +1pick for 1hour than 24hours of foiler. They need to rework the perks, then maybe it's not disappointment.

There is a view of what your teammates are doing in the events, so you can see who is or isn't pulling their weight.

There are several new Super Perks coming in the next update. Some of which are exclusives to the event rewards.

As for why we didn't do separate Team events, it is because we wanted to give players a break during the week. If we did Team events we would have to run solo events too, and it is a lot of play time to keep up. If you like events all the time you may want to check WWESuperCard since they run double events like that.

As for rewards, we will see if you all like the new Super Perks. We purposely do not give out cards for Team rewards since you're already getting cards for your individual rewards. Team rewards needed to be something unique and different, especially since your automatically getting them for playing the same events you used to play just for individual rewards. If you don't like the Team rewards, well you haven't really lost anything by playing the event. You'll still get your individual rewards as we had them before the update came out.

Bottom line, play the events with the Team stuff and let us know what you think. We're always listening and making adjustments.

I like the idea in theory, and even prefer that team events won't reward extra free cards. If it's too easy, then it loses its fun. I just hope that these new super perks are better than Foiler Alert.

I agree about reviewing the perks, the 24h +1pick is really good, but the 24h foil alert is useless for most of people...
