Avoiding All Star Body Contact

I am sure there ate 10 trillion threads on this somewhere, but how in the world do I avoid body contact on drives/fast breaks on All Star difficulty and higher vs. the Cpu. Online I don't seem to have an issue as the spacing is a bit more lax. Against the Cpu however I am constantly getting sucked into defenders, and initiating body contact.

Anyone have solid tips, or even a slider that can loosen things up a bit?

Thanks for the help.

lol man i tweaked the mess out of this game to try to help with that

there is alot going on with the ratings so unless you feel like tweaking the entire game then I wouldnt say you can just make it stop

Re: Avoiding All Star Body Contact

It just sucks because there's no way I can get separation against players lately. Even when I try to cross them or attempt to create space, I get sucked in. Even the hop/eurosteps don't seem to be working.

Re: Avoiding All Star Body Contact

Players on ball defense is too high

Players close out defense is too high

So is the close out slider

Go also into the players DNA sliders and change their defensive sliders

Thats why you cant cross over Fisher with Derrick Rose because his ratings are all too high, and that goes for mostly all of the players in this game.

When you do get by them, there is a recovery rating in the DNA sliders section that is also too high for individuals, so they automatically get back in front of you like you never got by them

I had been done with that. There were a few other things I wanted to test but I was done with every team

Re: Avoiding All Star Body Contact

As far as the game of basketball is thats junk

You dont see guys starting layups outside of the paint

All of the extra contact is over excessive. You get sucked into defenders and guys who cant guard plays defense like the celtics in this game

It was a band aid solution
