Pasta Padre did a little digging and noticed a few things concerning the release date for NCAA Basketball 09.

	"Both Gamefly and Amazon have changed the release date for NCAA Basketball 09 to Tuesday November 18th. While there is no confirmation of a push up in release for the game it does seem curious that two retailers would change it from the previously announced December 3rd with both settling on a date two weeks earlier. Currently the official website for the game and Gamestop still display NCAA as releasing in the first week of December."

It's true...not necessarily a good thing...no authentic schedules...but those are coming later...

Typical EA, want to make more money so they release this game early, and will "fix" it with patches. Not cool in my book...

What would the schedules have to do with when the game releases? Most college schedules are out in the Spring?

I hope EA adds the authentic schedules this year though. If not, allow the user to customize.

The one thing I hated over the past two versions is if you are a huge program and you want to schedule a smaller school they always decline, which makes no sense. Many smaller programs want to schedule the giants for two reasons:

1) A huge payday
2) Playing the "Big Boys" helps lure talent to those schools

I hope EA gets rid of that mess....

I think I read somewhere that the game will have authentic schedules?

Either way, I'm looking forward to the game.

It would be nice to get the game a couple weeks early. I wouldn't count on GameStop or the EA page because they are always slow with the game date updates. I do not deal with Gamefly, but Amazon is usually pretty solid with there release dates.

Awesome, as long as nothing is rushed(which I'm assuming it's not since most everything would be done or close to done by now) I'll love this move. This is great since it's just a couple days after College Basketball starts(at least Wright State).
