Can someone walk me through, step by step, on how to get the PS3 file downloaded and onto my PS3 and do it in such a way that a 47 year old who has somehow become technologically challenged, dad of 4 including two teens and two toddlers would understand? Thank you.

I used to just download online, but now that my PS3 needs an update it won't let me do it since I have a modded PS3.
