From my testing i can say that awareness plays a huge part in completion%.

First 2 tests i messed around with the coaching sliders and there was no difference, he kept throwing for 59%. Then i increase Matt Barkley's awareness from an 88 to a 95 and he throws for 67%.

Maybe a 10 point jump for each QB can bring the league wide completion percentages up.

Just a theory.

I love the everything about the roster, but the rating changes. Every year you guys take a big doo doo on Alabama's speed. We're known for our speed, especially on defense. It's not that big of a deal for me to change it back to the way it was originally, but I was just curious who has the hard on for Bama?

Ck,

Here's the results of my sim season with your most recent downloadable rosters. (injuries off)

Note worthy sim numbers:

Sim Numbers:
one player with a 170 QB rating or higher (Gino Smith of WV, 170.1)
7 players with a QB rating of 150 or higher
28 with a QB rating of 130 or higher
97 with a QB rating of 100 or higher
27 with a QB rating below 100

Last year’s actual numbers
4 Qb’s had quarterback ratings over 170. (two over 185)
8 Qb’s had quarterback ratings over 160.
20 had QB ratings over 150.
64 had a QB rating of 130 or higher
111 had a QB rating of 100 or higher
4 QB’s had a QB rating below 100

Sim Numbers:
10 players attempted 450 passes or more
No player had over 500 pass attempts.

Last year’s actual numbers
10 thew 500 or more passes. 1 Houston’s Case Keenum threw 600.

Sim Numbers:
Of the 10 players with 450 pass attempts or more, only 2, had a completion percentage above 60. (Gino Smith, rated 96, Seth Doege rated 94). Of note: Doege’s and Smith’s awareness both 88.

ECU’s Rio Johnson - 80 overall 72 awareness, 488 pass attempts, 103.4 quarterback rating, only 2849 pass yards, 21 td’s 9 ints, 43% completion percentage.

OSU’s Wes Lunt - 83 overall, 72 awareness, 468 pass attempts 112.6 quarterback rating 3078 pass yards, 24 td’s 14 ints, 46% completion percentage.

1 player with over 4000 yards (Gino Smith 4,546).
12 players passed for over 3000 yards.

7 players had a 60% completion percentage or higher.
Tops was Vandenberg of Iowa with 67%. (88 awareness). 25/7 td/int ratio.
Every single player with 60% or higher had and 86 or higher awareness.

73 players had a less than a 50% completion percentage.
Every single one of the 73 players had less than an 85 awareness.

Last year’s actual numbers:
8 passers completed 70% of their passes.
63 percent completed 60% of their passes.
Only 2 players who qualified with enough attempts did not complete 50 percent of their passes.

When I get the chance, I will take your rosters CK, and edit only the awareness to 85 for starters and 80 for backups, etc like we talked about and post the results. It'll be interesting to see the difference.

As for MLB Will Davis, I agree, I'd love for him to be added. Any suggestions as to who should be removed though?

WR Vernon Vaughn, since he's being grey-shirted anyway would probably be my first inclination. After that, FS Joseph Bonugli could perhaps be a possibility. (Although i'm rather fond of Bonugli seeing as he's from my hometown of San Antonio, ha.)

OS guys, here's the K-State roster if you'd like to check up on FS Gainous/K Cantele and their classification.

Kip Daily is a rs JR as well. I would agree VJ Vaughn is a possibility. Rather then Bonugli I would say Jarard Milo as he will never see the field in a meaningful game. Personally I think Tay Bender is overrated for a freshman. But just my ten cents

Thanks for all that you do to help make this game extra enjoyable.

Forgive my ignorance but these sliders everyone is talking about?

Is that under the head coach and coordinators section where you can manipulate the pass/run ratio, conservative/aggressive ratio?

In my latest sim, I had 10 players with 60 or above.

KSU98,

Last i looked, the most recent OS rosters had MLB Will Davis on the roster. They removed WR Vernon Vaughn.

Just so you know I haven't made any suggestions on player ratings for KSU yet (except for an increase to Collin Klein), I know the OS guys are busy with a lot on their plate to suggest actual rating increase/decreases.

I do agree though, QB Tay Bender should probably be a 75 realistically.

As for Bonugli/Milo, with respect, I do think Milo's the keeper if its between the two. (As of now, luckily thats not the case though.) Milo has been mentioned numerous times by coach Snyder as an impact player in the spring. Bonugli on the other hand, is coming off a season ending injury from a year ago and no one knows yet knows how well he's responding.
