Re: Anyone have Heisman/AA HFA Off sliders?

I've played the game with it off and on and there isn't that big a difference imo. Some people make it out as though they are two different games but its not true. There are more fumbles with it on and on Heisman I had to turn it off. Some people see more dropped passes with it on but its not a significant difference on the PS2 anyway.

There isn't a huge difference in gameplay with it off or on. Just find a slider set you like and set HFA off or on depending on how you feel about it. The sliders will work the same way regardless.

Re: Anyone have Heisman/AA HFA Off sliders?

I have always played games with hfa off because I felt as though it gave to much of an advantage to the home team. Similar to ncaa marchmadness with the home team starting with momentum at tipoff.

If you look at the rosters during the game you will see that ratings are either increased or decreased depending on certain situations etc.

I have tried playing with this feature on but when you step up to heisman there is no way you can have this on. I played cal using the illinois and on heisman with cpu blocking at 0 user at 8 and the comp had over 75 pancakes one tackle had 38 while my team had 3.

now same sliders and playing an unranked team and the comp had 13 pancakes to my 7. Both games where good but things like that make you think it's the sliders when it is really the HFA.

In my opinion I see Ncaa as having two difficulty levels Heisman and varsity.basically each level has a boost Heisman would be 99 and varsity would be 49.5 by using Hfa that would add another boost of 49.5.

Great feature that should be in the game but it really needs to be tweake4d because the effects are really strange at times.
