Thumbs up Arichzona; 7 minute AA sliders (revisited)

Well....the patch is finally out and I have come with this - believe it, or not. Now that the cpu sliders finally work....look at what I have. I did not touch special teams as of yet.

(HUMAN/CPU)

updated: 8/21/08

OFFENSE:
30/40
0/0
60/45
60/60
55/55

DEFENSE:
75/85
90/95
0/0
10/10
25/30

SPECIAL TEAMS:
30/30
5/5
30/30
35/45
70/70 - hopefully leading to touchbacks as returns are.... you all know

FATIGUE (OUT/IN):
QB: 60/80
HB: 80/95
WR: 80/85
TE: 60/80
DT: 60/75
DE: 60/75
LB: 60/80
CB: 60/80

All others are at DEFAULT.

Defensive fatigue is set so guys are not 'fresh' towards the later parts of the game. Basically, tired guys are staying in on longer cpu drives in an effort to keep the cpu out there longer.....they need help.

Have you taken into effect the criss cross sliders?

For reference please see other slider threads in this forum.

Taken into effect as in the fact that they are screwed up and there are several theories as to what really does what? Yes, it is kind of hard to miss them.

That is exactly why I have posted this base set on the forum. This does that, that really does this, this does nothing....etc, etc, etc.

Truth is - criss-crossed sliders or not we all want a game that is both fun and a challenge which is exaclty why we all need each others input....to find that balance, whether the sliders look jacked up and make no sense, criss-crossed or not is not a concern. Playabliity is. Since sliders were even an option on EA football games I have seen no true definitions of how much of what effects what (I wonder if they know...). Now this year it appears that we all as a group have an extra hurdle(s) to overcome on our own.

Re: Arichzona; 8 minute AA sliders

I played three full quarters using the sliders. Here are some stats:

NC State (me) vs. Miami Hurricanes
21-37 score

MH - Marve 142.2 rating 17-28 241 yards 2TD 2INT 60% - CPU
NC - Evans 104.4 rating 15-26 153 yards 1TD 2INT 57%

Eugene 16-167 10.4 avg 2TD
Cooper 18-84 4.6 avg 1TD - CPU

I was up 21-17 at the half. Miami came out in the 2nd half on fire. I couldn't stop them to save my life. Blitzes, zones, M2M, nothing worked. It was a great game though. I was really impressed with the CPU %'s and the rush average. These are the 1st sliders that gave me realistic stats in that category. I will do some more testing later this evening. Keep up the good work!

Here are the avg's over my last 6 games.....(ME/CPU)

TOTAL OFF: .....283/296
PASSYDS:.........230/235
RUSHYDS..........52/60
PTS/GM............17.7/24.8
1STDOWNS........13.7/11.8

PASSING SPECIFIC:

QB RATING....... 140/159
TD'S/GM............ .8/1.5
COMP/GM..........19.7/17.2
ATT/GM............28.3/24.8
COMP%..............69/69
SACKED/GM.......2.1/1.3
INTS/GM............1.0/1.2

RUSHING:

YPC avg is still not where I want it. I have modified the DT sub setting so the d line does not rotate as often and am seeing a much improved inside game....

thx for feedback so far.

Re: Arichzona; 8 minute AA sliders

just finished a game ECU(me) vs Baylor. Obviously, Baylor is a very, very bad squad as I won 41-13. Fun game as I jumped out to a 21-0 lead early due to a pick6 and one long run. My RB finished with 188 yds and a 6/1ypc avg. Very nice to see as opposed to the mid 2's I was getting vs the big boys.

Michigan (me): 34
Minnesota: 14

First downs:

Me: 20
CPU: 13

Offense

Me: 386
CPU: 257

Rush

Me: 31-116-2
CPU: 26-35-0

Pass

Me: 22-38-2
CPU: 27-50-0

It played good. These are the best sliders I've played with. I'm going to play with a team closer to michigan in ratings and on the road and see what I get. Thanks for these sliders.
