Fastest way to bid in Auction house is...

Ok so I am new to the UT mode in general...

Just wondering if the fastest way to bid on an item when you are in a bidding war with someone is to just back out, research and try again?

Because I just missed out on a gold Tebow for around 6000 and every time I went to bid it kept telling me "we were unable to process your bid" meaning I had been outbid on the current bid of course, but I tried almost 20 times and never even got a bid submitted.

Always been the case dating back to 2010 madden UT ,

Its a little about your timing, a little about your internet speed, a lot about luck

If its a peak time, your at the mercy of luck

but to save time done research , once u get a bid in use the my bid menu (try putting a bid in early so its there in the winding seconds)

They finally made the My Bids section worth something. Definitely use My Bids, and check it there, once you get to the <1min left you have to place your bid back out and then place the next bid (or if you are still the top bidder back out and go back in).

I got sniped on a Charlie Ward earlier today (almost got him for under 9,000), I placed the bid successfully backed out and went back in and the guy who bid right after me wound up winning it (luck in that my bid was placed and he happened to get to the new screen right as my bid took over, I couldn't have been any slower or else someone else would have placed that bid and I wouldn't have been fast enough to back out and get back in there).

It can be frustrating but when you are the one doing the sniping it is very satisfying.
