I'm interested in buying some coins, but I'm still confused how this all works, how do the coins get to me? Can someone explain. Sorry if it's been posted before

Usually you will work out a deal like for example I'm selling you coins...
1. You send payment (PayPal or psn or points)
2. You post some random card for however many coins you want
3. I buy that card for that price

Oh ok for sure, that's cool! Has there been anyone on this site that's been screwed over on getting their coins or points? Cause I'm not trying to have that happen to me.
